Art by the Sea, Takapuna, Auckland, NZ

Step back into the bold, bright world of the 70s and 80s with Further Anecdotes Of My Youth, a playful and vivid art exhibition by Christian Nicolson. Running from 23 September to 5 October 2023, the show celebrates the fun, colour, and chaos of a childhood shaped by two unforgettable decades.

With his signature mix of humour and heart, Nicolson captures the essence of the era, reimagined through a lens of joyful nostalgia. The exhibition invites visitors to reconnect with their own memories while exploring the artist’s unique take on pop culture, youth, and the magic of growing up.
