I was staying at a friends place just outside of Munich. In the morning I got up and went for a run, as I do, and the path led me into a forest. Looking around I could feel the history in the ancient trees and tried to imagine what things could have happened there in years gone by. Two knights fighting a duel – why not… tis but a scratch.
This painting is a one-off original painting by Christian Nicolson.
