I love the pont de gard. It’s one of my favourite places for a picnic, followed or proceed by a swim. The viaduct was built by the romans and is very impressive to behold. Underneath flows a beautiful, clean, green, river, surrounded by rocks and ledges for jumping off and a nice pebbly beach. I recommend staying the night at Uzes. A truely pretty, pretty town with awesome savoury crepes.
