The landcsape in Iceland was truly some of the most dramatic and beautiful I have seen. Quite similar to New Zealand actually. We went to this beach in search of puffins but found none. Instead we saw a humpback whale 25 metres off shore diving down looking for food. It was obviously a steep drop off from the sand. I have never seen anything like it.
This painting is a one-off original painting by Christian Nicolson.
