Porthcurno Cornwall

This is something new for me. A painting of somewhere outside of New Zealand. This is Porthcurno. A beautiful beach to rival many of our own that can have crystal clear waters and beautiful sunshine. Situated near Lands End at the bottom of England this is a stunning piece of scenery that boasts an amazing outdoor theatre carved into the cliffside overlooking the bay – the Minack Theatre. When I went, it was out of season but I would love to return one English summer and catch a piece of Shakespeare. You can’t see it in this painting but I know it is there somewhere.
